The Chief of Police or any police officer of the City shall seize, or direct to be seized, any instrument, device or thing used for the purpose of gambling, or on, by or with which money or other articles of value may be lost or won, and all such instruments, devices or things shall be demolished or destroyed under the direction of the Chief of Police, upon its being adjudged by the Court that such instruments, devices, or things were used, kept or intended for the purpose of gambling.
