(a) All plumbing fixtures and piping connected thereto in existing buildings, secondary and appurtenant structures shall be maintained in good condition to provide the necessary plumbing and sanitary facilities required. Where one such facility is provided, a second facility shall be added.
(b) All plumbing fixtures shall be so designed and installed as to prevent contamination of the water supply system, back flow prevention, and shall be connected by means of a proper enclosed system to a public sanitary sewer.
