144.01 APPOINTMENTS; DUTIES.
   The Mayor is hereby authorized to appoint a Community Relations Coordinator to serve at the pleasure of the Mayor.
   The Community Relations Coordinator shall perform the following duties and such other relevant duties as may be required and approved by the Mayor:
   (a)   Serve as a liaison between the City and its residents (including commercial or business establishments within the City) in all matters relating to community relations and to the promotion of goodwill, tolerance and understanding among all of its residents.
   (b)   Provide and disseminate information and/or assistance to any resident dealing with the City and various departments of the City.
   (c)   Serve as Community Organizer to encourage positive interaction between all residents through the organization of neighborhood associations for social or informational purposes and designed to promote universal goodwill among all residents of the City to the end that all shall live in peace and harmony and enjoy the benefits and privileges of a democratic society.
