1322.07 LOCATION OF LARGE SATELLITE EARTH STATIONS.
   (a)   A large satellite earth station may be located in a residential zone provided that it complies with the following requirements:
      (1)   It must be neutral in color and bear no advertising emblem or information other than the name of the manufacturer in letters not to exceed two inches in height.
      (2)   There may be only one per lot.
      (3)   It shall be ground mounted, and it must not be in excess of seven feet in diameter, nor exceed the diameter in height by more than eighteen inches.
      (4)   No roof mounted large satellite earth stations shall be permitted.
      (5)   All ground mounted large satellite earth stations must be located only in the rear yard with the base a minimum of five feet from any property line.
      (6)   The full visual impact of large satellite earth stations shall be reduced by screening. All large satellite earth stations shall be effectively screened by a fence, wall or dense screening hedge to one-half the height of the structure. Said fence, wall or hedge shall comply with the applicable zoning requirements governing its location.
   (b)   A Large Satellite Earth Station may be located in any business, commercial or industrial zone, provided that it complies with the following requirements:
      (1)   It must be neutral in color and bear no advertising emblem or information other than the name of the manufacturer in letters not to exceed two inches in height.
      (2)   It must not be in excess of seven feet in diameter nor exceed the diameter in height more than thirty six inches as installed.
      (3)   If roof mounted, the height from the ground must not be in excess of the maximum height permitted in the zoning district in which the large satellite earth station is located, and it must be located as close as practicable to the center of the roof area or other acceptable location on the roof to provide for the least visibility from the ground area. A study of roof capabilities to handle the additional load shall be submitted with permit and plans.
      (4)   If ground-mounted, it must not be located between a building and a front lot line. The full visual impact of large satellite earth stations shall be reduced by screening. If the subject parcel adjoins a residential zone, all antennas shall be placed a minimum of ten feet from any lot line and effectively screened by a fence, wall or dense screening hedge to one-half the height of the structure. Said fence, wall or hedge shall be located on or near the lot line bounding the residential zone and shall otherwise comply with the applicable zoning requirements governing its location.
