The provisions of this chapter shall not apply to the following:
(a) Hospitals, nursing homes and public health centers;
(b) A person licensed or registered by the State Medical Board while performing their licensed or registered profession;
(c) A liensed cosmetologist, registered barber, registered barbers apprentice, licensed chiropractor, licensed practical nurse or registered nurse and registered physical therapist, while performing their licensed or registered profession; and
(d) A person working under the direct supervision of individuals or establishments mentioned in this section while performing their licensed or registered profession.
