(a) A work week for the employees in the Department of Service shall be forty hours, consisting of five days, from Monday through Friday, inclusive, with a basic eight-hour day.
(b) The Director of Service may require a physical examination of each full-time employee hired prior to the commencement of work. Such examining physician shall be designated by the Director of Service. The cost of such examination shall be paid by the applicant for such position with the City.
