129.02 ASSISTANT TO THE DIRECTOR OF SERVICE.

(a) There is created within the Department of Service the position of Assistant to the Director who shall be appointed by the Mayor and shall serve at the pleasure of the Mayor.

(b) The Assistant to the Director of Service shall assist the Director in administering the affairs of the Department and shall perform such other duties as are required of him by the Director.
