It is the duty of the Clerk, as soon as practicable after the adjournment of the Court or before the adjournment of the Court at such time as the Court may direct, to deliver to the City Treasurer certified copies of all entries under Section 177.18 making allowances to jurors payable out of the City Treasury. The Treasurer shall, upon receipt of such order or orders, issue a check payable to the juror for the amount allowed to him and deliver the check to the Clerk who shall deliver it to the juror.
