175.01 DEPUTY CLERK.
   (a)   Office Created; Appointment; Compensation. There is hereby created the office of Deputy Clerk of the Municipal Court. The Deputy Clerk shall be appointed by the Municipal Judge and shall serve at the will and pleasure of the Judge, and shall receive such compensation as may be determined by Council.
   (b)   Oath; Bond. The Deputy Clerk of the Municipal Court shall take oath and give bond as provided by the Charter.
   (c)   Powers and Duties Generally.
      (1)   The Deputy Clerk of the Municipal Court shall be responsible for and see to the proper preparation, filing and indexing of all court dockets, records, appeal papers and all other official records required to be kept by the Municipal Court by the laws of the State, and shall perform such other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the Judge of the Municipal Court.
      (2)   The Deputy Clerk is hereby authorized to receive, in the name of the Municipal Court, all fines and costs not received by the Municipal Court Clerk.
