(a) Monuments shall be set at the intersections of all lines forming angles in the boundary of the subdivision.
(b) A minimum of two monuments shall be placed within each block of a subdivision and shall be designated as control corners. The Planning Commission or the City Engineer may require additional monuments at other points.
(c) Monuments shall be placed so that the scored or marked point shall coincide exactly with the intersection of the lines to be marked, and shall be set so that the top of the monument is level with the surface of the surrounding ground. Monuments may, wherever possible, be of the following two types:
(1) Cut stone six inches by six inches by three feet long with a drill hole in the center; or
(2) Reinforced concrete six inches by six inches by three feet long with a one- half inch round brass pin in the center.
(d) The subdivider shall bear the cost of replacing a disturbed monument until construction of the subdivision is completed.
