§ 8-4-5 RECORD TO BE KEPT.
   A.   Every pawnbroker, secondhand dealer, and junk dealer shall keep a complete record of all goods, wares, merchandise, or things pledged to or purchased or received by him or her, or sold or otherwise disposed of.
   B.   The record shall contain all of the matters required to be shown in the reports referred to and described in §§ 8-4-2 and 8-4-4.
   C.   Every such record and all goods, wares, merchandise, and things pledged to or purchased or received by any such pawnbroker, secondhand dealer, or junk dealer, shall be open, at all times during business hours, to the inspection of any police officer of the city. The record referred to in this section shall be kept, maintained, and preserved for one year from the date of purchase of the goods.
