§ 8-4-2 LICENSE REQUIRED.
   A.   It is unlawful for any person to engage in, conduct, manage, or carry on the business of pawnbroker, secondhand dealer, or junk dealer without first applying for and receiving a license therefor, in writing, from the Clerk.
   B.   The license may be obtained during business hours at the City Hall upon the payment of an annual license fee of $60, and upon completion of the application upon the form prescribed by the Clerk, which form is hereby authorized by this article.
   C.   The license shall thereafter be renewed annually upon the anniversary date of the original application, by the payment of the required fee, and in the same manner as the original application.
   D.   By applying for and receiving the license, each applicant shall thereby expressly consent to inspection by any police officer of the city in the manner stated in this article.
