§ 1610.07 DEFINITIONS.
   For the purpose of this Fire Prevention Code, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
   (a)   APPROVED. As applied to materials, types of construction, appliances, procedures, transportation or occupancy, means approved by the Bureau of Fire Prevention as a result of investigations and tests conducted by it, or by reason of accepted principles or tests made by the National Fire Protection Association; Building Officials and Code Administrators International, Incorporated; Underwriters’ Laboratories, Incorporated; the Factory Mutual System; the National Fire Codes; or the American National Standards Institute.
   (b)   FIRE PREVENTION CODE.  Chapters 1610, 1620, 1630, 1640, 1650 and 1660 of these Codified Ordinances, including the Ohio Fire Code, as adopted in § 1610.02.
   (c)   FIRE SAFETY INSPECTOR. A person certified under R.C. § 3737.34.
