There is hereby established the position of Fire Chief. The Fire Chief shall be appointed by the Mayor pursuant to Article V, § 5, of the City Charter. The Fire Chief shall report directly to the Mayor and shall perform such duties as may be required by the Mayor pursuant to the position’s job description on file in the Human Resource Department.
