§ 135.001 DEFINITION.
   For the purposes of this chapter, the following definition shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
   LASER POINTER. Any device that emits light amplified by the stimulated emission of radiation that is visible to the human eye.

§ 135.002 PROHIBITED; USE AGAINST AN UNIFORMED LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER.
   No person shall direct light from a laser pointer at a uniformed law enforcement officer.

§ 135.003 PROHIBITED; USE AGAINST ANOTHER PERSON OR ANIMAL.
   No person shall direct light from a laser pointer into or about the eyes of another person or animal, or in any manner that would reasonably be expected to annoy, harass or alarm any person or animal.

§ 135.004 EXEMPTIONS.
   The temporary transfer of possession or use of laser pointers for valid instructional school or employment purposes when the use is under the supervision of school staff or an employer is exempt from the provisions of this chapter.
