(a) A signal of intention to turn a vehicle right or left, when required, shall be given continuously during not less than the last 100 feet of travel by the vehicle before turning.
(b) No person shall stop or suddenly decrease the speed of a vehicle without first giving an appropriate signal, in the manner provided in this subchapter, to the driver of any vehicle immediately to the rear when there is opportunity to give the signal.
(c) Except as provided in this section, a person driving a bicycle or e-bicycle shall comply with divisions (a) and (b) above. A signal of intention to turn right or left, when required, shall be given continuously during not less than the last 100 feet traveled by the bicycle or e-bicycle before turning and shall be given while the bicycle or e-bicycle is stopped waiting to turn. A signal by hand and arm need only be given intermittently if the hand is needed in the control or operation of the bicycle or e-bicycle.
