§ 2-3-1 MEMBERSHIP; COMPENSATION.
   There is created a Museum Advisory Board, which shall consist of a minimum of three persons and a maximum number of five persons, or such other number of members as the Town Council shall determine by resolution, who shall serve without compensation.

§ 2-3-2 APPOINTMENT AND TERMS OF MEMBERS.
   The members of the Museum Advisory Board shall be appointed by the Town Council for a term of three years. Members may serve successive terms upon reappointment by the Town Council.

§ 2-3-3 OFFICERS OF BOARD.
   (A)   Chairperson and Vice Chairperson. Within 30 days after the initial and each appointment, the Museum Advisory Board shall elect a Chairperson and Vice Chairperson.
   (B)   Secretary.
      (1)   The Museum Advisory Board shall designate any member of the Board to serve as Secretary of the Board, and the Community Events Director shall serve the Board in an advisory capacity.
      (2)   The Secretary shall record minutes of meetings and shall circulate the minutes to the Museum Advisory Board, Community Events Director, and Town Council.

§ 2-3-4 MEETINGS.
   The Museum Advisory Board shall meet at least six times each year upon the call of the Chairperson or the Vice Chairperson and shall meet at a time and place to be designated by the person calling the meeting. The Board may establish a regular meeting time and place.

§ 2-3-5 REMOVAL OF MEMBERS; FILLING VACANCIES.
   (A)   Removal by Council. The Town Council may, by majority vote, remove any member of the Museum Advisory Board whenever it appears that removal would be in the best interests of the town, as determined by the Town Council, and shall fill the vacancy created by the resignation, death, or removal of any member for the unexpired portion of the member’s term.
   (B)   Recommendations of Board. The Board may make recommendations to the Town Council for removal of members.
