§ 7-4-1 METHOD OF PARKING, PARALLEL OR ANGLE.
   (A)   Parallel. No person shall stand or park a vehicle in a roadway other than parallel with the edge of the roadway, headed in the direction of lawful traffic movement, and with the wheels of the vehicle nearest the curb line within 18 inches of the curb or edge of the roadway, except as otherwise provided in this chapter.
   (B)   Angle. The Town Council shall determine upon what streets angle parking shall be permitted and shall mark or sign such streets, but the angle parking shall not be indicated upon any federal aid or state highway within the town unless the State Highway Commission has determined that the roadway is of sufficient width to permit angle parking without interfering with the free movement of traffic. On those streets which have been signed or marked by the Council for angle parking, no person shall park or stand a vehicle other than at the angle to the curb or edge of the roadway indicated by such signs or markings.
