(a) The following spaces shall be designated as one-hour parking spaces:
(1) Commencing at the intersection of North and Main Streets; thence continuing on the north side of North Street to a point 164.50 feet east of the centerline of such intersection, thence continuing east 40.0 feet.

(b) No person shall cause, allow or permit a vehicle to occupy a designated one-hour space, during the times set forth in subsection (c) hereof, for more than one hour per space per day.
(c) The one-hour per day limitation shall be effective from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, except on New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veteran's Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
(d) Enforcement of this section shall be accomplished in accordance with the method set forth in Section 351.171(d).
(e) Notwithstanding any other provision of this chapter, no person shall park in any parking space when otherwise directed by a police officer or fire-fighter or when parking is prohibited by properly posted signs.
