EDITOR'S NOTE: This chapter, formerly titled "City Solicitor," was retitled as part of the 1993 updating and revision of these Codified Ordinances to conform to the amendments, by the voters, on November 3, 1992, of Sections 4-2 and 4-3 of the City Charter, changing the name of the City's legal officer from City Solicitor to City Director of Law. References throughout these Codified Ordinances to the Solicitor or City Solicitor shall be deemed to mean the City Director of Law.
