(a) The regulations, restrictions and boundaries set forth in this chapter may from time to time be amended, supplemented, changed or appealed to reflect changes in the National Flood Disaster Protection Act of 1973, provided, however, that no such action may be taken until a public hearing is conducted in relation thereto, at which parties in interest and citizens shall have the opportunity to be heard. Notice of the time and place of such hearing shall be published at least fifteen days prior thereto in a newspaper of general circulation in the City.
(b) This chapter is in compliance with the National Flood Insurance Program Regulations, as published in the Federal Register, Volume 41, Number 207, dated October 26, 1976, and the 1967 Nebraska Flood Plains Regulations Act.
