The aggregate ground floor square footage of an accessory building located within a residential zone, with the exception of R-1a and AR Zones, shall not exceed the square footage equal to the ground floor footprint of the principal building. In calculating the ground floor footprint of the principal building for purposes of this section, no attached buildings or impervious surfaces attached thereto shall be included. However, all buildings must comply with the maximum lot coverage restrictions set forth in Section 1264.01(b).
