The purpose of this chapter is to authorize the establishment of accessory structures that are customarily incidental and subordinate to principal uses allowed in the various residential zones of the City. The provisions of this chapter are also intended to ensure that accessory structures are designed, built, and used to minimize their impacts on neighboring properties, to ensure compliance with the purpose and intent of the zone in which the property is located, and to minimize the potential for improper activities.
