(a) The City Manager is hereby directed to set aside burial spaces in Greenwood Cemetery, such spaces to be four sections of 50 foot by 100 foot areas located south of the existing Veteran's Monument with two sections on each side of the existing road that leads south of the monument.

(b) The areas referred to in division (a) hereof shall be seeded with grass, irrigated and platted by the City.
(c) The areas referred to in division (a) hereof shall be designated for veteran burial free of charge to veterans, regardless of financial status, with the veteran's spouse having the option to purchase a lot adjacent to the deceased. No lot shall be reserved prior to the death of a veteran except that if a veteran's spouse dies before the veteran, the spouse's lot may be purchased at the time with the veteran's lot reserved adjacent to the spouse's lot.
(d) Burials in the areas referred to in division (a) hereof shall be limited to veterans of Cheyenne County, Nebraska, only.
(e) All grave markers in the areas referred to in division (a) hereof shall be uniform in size and be surface set.
