A tax of four percent of the gross receipts of each licensed association conducting a game of bingo within the City is hereby imposed and levied against each such association, payable on or before the thirtieth day of the immediately succeeding calendar quarter, to the Clerk-Treasurer. When collected, such tax shall forthwith be credited by the Clerk-Treasurer to the General Fund of the City.
