624.02 GAMBLING AT PLACES OF PUBLIC RESORT.

No keeper of any billiard hall, bowling alley or other place of public resort shall engage in or permit in, at or about such place any gambling, lottery, punchboard, slot machine or playing at any game of chance, including wagering on the results of horse races or of other sports, with any device or means for money or other valuable thing or for anything representing money or other valuable thing.
