466.06 DECLARATIONS OF SNOW EMERGENCY.
   (a)   The Director shall cause each declaration made by him or her pursuant to this chapter to be publicly announced by means of broadcasts or telecasts from television or radio stations with normal operating ranges covering the City, and he or she may cause such declaration to be further announced, when feasible, in newspapers of general circulation in the City. Each announcement shall describe the action taken by the Director, including the time it became or will become effective, and shall specify the streets or areas affected. A parking prohibition or advancement of quitting-time traffic regulations declared by the Director shall not go into effect until at least one hour after such prohibition or advancement has been announced at least twice.
   (b)   The Director shall make or cause to be made a record of the time and date of each declaration announced to the public in accordance with this section.
