404.16 OFFICIAL TRAFFIC SIGN.

"Official traffic sign" means any sign, marking or device, other than a signal, not inconsistent with this Traffic Code, placed or erected by authority of the Mayor and Council or another public body having jurisdiction for the purpose of guiding, directing, warning or regulating traffic.
