The members of the Civil Service Commission shall be appointed by the City Manager. At the time of any appointment, not more than two members of the Commission, including the ones to be appointed, shall be registered electors of the same political party. Confirmation of the appointments by any other legislative body shall not be required. The present members of the Commission existing on the effective date of this section (Ordinance 1070, passed November 26, 1985) shall continue to serve their present respective terms.
