240.07 SUPPLEMENTARY CAPACITY OF RESERVE FORCE.

Officers of the Police Division Reserve Force shall act only in a supplementary capacity to the Police Division and shall in no case assume the full-time duties of regular police officers without first complying with all requirements for such regular police officers. Council shall not reduce the authorized size of the Police Division because of the establishment or utilization of the Reserve Force.
