8-5-4: PLANS AND CONTRACTS REQUIRED:
Plans and contracts for construction of private residential swimming pools, as heretofore required to be submitted to the Village prior to the issuance of a construction permit, shall comply with the following requirements:
   A.   Plans shall be drawn to scale indicating all dimensions, including length, width and depth. (Ord. 14-1749, 10-28-2014)
   B.   Plans shall indicate the location of the pool and fencing in relation to all lot and setback lines, with such minimum setbacks from lot lines being:
      1.   Rear yard: Six feet (6').
      2.   Side yard: Six feet (6').
      3.   No pool shall be built or installed within ten feet (10') of a foundation wall or accessory building.
      4.   No pool shall be built within any easement regardless of the above minimum setbacks. (Ord. 16-1826, 11-8-2016)
   C.   The following parts of pools shall not be placed under existing service drop conductors or any other open overhead wiring nor shall such wiring be installed above the following:
      1.   Pools and the area extending ten feet (10') horizontally from the inside of the walls of the pool.
      2.   Diving structure.
      3.   Observation stands, towers or platforms.
   D.   Underground wiring shall be in accordance with chapter 1 of this title.
   E.   Plans shall show the grade for the location where the pool is to be constructed and the actual preconstruction grade for the location. The postconstruction final grade must be within three inches (3") tolerance of the grade established in the final subdivision plat for the lot.
   F.   Plans shall indicate kind, number and size of filters and heaters and the location and size of any electrical or gas service lines.
   G.   All plans shall show all pools are grounded and all electrical devices protected with ground fault interrupters.
   H.   Copies of the construction contract for the construction of the private residential swimming pool and fencing shall be submitted which shall indicate the cost to complete the construction of the private residential swimming pool and fencing and the date of completion for each.
   I.   All pools shall be constructed in accordance with all village codes, including chapter 1 of this title. The more restrictive provisions shall prevail. (Ord. 14-1749, 10-28-2014)
