1-6-15: VILLAGE HALL EXPANSION COMMITTEE:
   A.   Creation And Composition Of Committee: A Village Hall Expansion Committee of the Village of Shorewood be and the same is hereby created.
The Village Hall Expansion Committee shall consist of seven (7) members as follows: one Trustee who will serve as chairman, the Village Administrator, the Chief Building Official, the Police Chief, the Village Treasurer, the Trustee (chairman) of the Finance Committee, and the Superintendent of the Public Works Department, all who shall be appointed by the Village President with the advice and consent of the Board of Trustees. The Village President shall serve as a ex officio member of the Committee.
   B.   Duration Of Committee: The Village Hall Expansion Committee shall be an ad hoc committee and shall exist until such time as the mission and duties as hereafter delineated are completed or until otherwise terminated by ordinance.
   C.   Mission And Duties Of The Committee: The mission of the Village Hall Expansion Committee is to advise and make recommendations to the President and Board of Trustees concerning the following:
      1.   To study the use of existing space in the Village Hall.
      2.   To make recommendations on size and design of the expansion of the Village Hall and to oversee the construction of the facility until completed.
      3.   To make recommendations on the expansion, in particular, of the Shorewood Police Department utilizing the space in the existing Village Boardroom, and to oversee the construction until completed.
      4.   To make recommendations on projected costs and methods of financing. (Ord. 95-776, 1-24-1995; amd. Ord. 20-1982, 8-25-2020)
