4-7-5: LANDSCAPING:
   A.   New Subdivisions And Commercial Development:
      1.   In new subdivisions or when the development of commercial or industrial property occurs, the planning and zoning commission will review landscaping plans for compliance with this chapter and title 10, chapter 14 of this code and will require trees to be planted in any parkways, parking lots and/or other public property.
      2.   The projected cost of any such required trees shall be included as part of the subdivider's/developer's performance security.
   B.   Screening: In the new subdivisions and when the development of commercial or industrial property occurs, protective screen planting buffering between incompatible land use; building foundation; yard areas; plantings and parking area landscaping may be required by the village in locations and circumstances determined to be appropriate. A plan relating to these items shall be prepared by a landscape architect and shall be submitted to the planning and zoning commission concurrent with any final plat of subdivision, or commercial or industrial site plans. Such plan shall be submitted to the village board for consideration after review and recommendation by the planning and zoning commission. (Ord. 15-1767, 2-10-2015)
