Other than fertilizing, watering or pruning limbs less than two inches (2") in diameter, no person shall plant, remove, cut above the ground, change grade levels or disturb any tree on any street or village property without first filing an application and obtaining a permit from the village. The person receiving the permit shall abide by the standards set forth in this chapter. No permit will be issued to a contractor until proof of insurance, as provided herein, is presented to the village. Removal of a parkway tree or tree within the right of way area without a permit shall carry a fine as set forth in section 4-7-9 of this chapter. (Ord. 15-1767, 2-10-2015)
