1-6-1: DEFINITIONS:

For the purpose of this chapter, the following terms, phrases, words and their derivations shall have the meanings given herein. When not inconsistent with the context, words used in the plural number include the singular number and words in the singular number include the plural number.

BOARD: The board of trustees of the village of Shorewood, Will County, Illinois.

COMMITTEE: The appropriate committee of the village of Shorewood as created by this chapter.

PRESIDENT: The president of the village of Shorewood, Will County, Illinois.

VILLAGE: The village of Shorewood, Will County, Illinois. (1994 Code)
