1-5-3: PERSONNEL RULES AND REGULATIONS 1 :
   A.   Personnel Manual Adopted: The personnel manual attached to the ordinance codified herein and marked as exhibit A and by reference thereto specifically made a part of this subsection, is hereby declared to be the official personnel manual of the village of Shorewood. (Ord. 07-1441, 9-25-2007)
   B.   Equal Opportunity Employer: The village:
      1.   Shall take all federally mandated steps to remain an equal opportunity employer as defined by title IV of the civil rights act of 1964, and shall adhere to all requirements of the U.S. environmental protection agency issued pursuant to that title.
      2.   Shall not discriminate against any employer or applicant for employment because of race, color, religion, sex or national origin.
      3.   Will abide by the equal opportunity requirements, compliance procedures and files as set forth in the code of federal regulations, chapter 41, section 60. (Ord. 92-660, 9-8-1992)
   C.   Safety Manual Adopted: The safety manual, revised December 2005, and attached to the ordinance codified herein as exhibit A, be and the same is hereby adopted. (Ord. 06-1343, 1-24-2006)
   D.   Drug And Alcohol Abuse Policy Adopted: The drug and alcohol abuse policy, attached to the ordinance codified herein on file in the office of the village clerk, be and is hereby adopted for those village employees whose position of employment with the village requires a CDL driver's license. (Ord. 95-825, 11-28-1995)
