A. The minimum grades of streets shall be not less than five- tenths of one percent (0.5%) nor exceed the following except where topography necessitates:
1. Major streets: Four percent (4%).
2. Collector streets: Six percent (6%).
3. Local streets and service drives: Seven percent (7%).
4. Pedestrianways or crosswalks: Built pursuant to federal and state standards and for handicap access. (Ord. 93-721, 12-14-1993)
B. All changes in street grades in excess of one and one-fourth percent (1.25%) shall be connected by vertical curves. Minimum length in feet of these curves shall provide a sight distance of not less than three hundred feet (300') measured from an eye level four feet (4') high, with a clear view of an obstacle not over two feet (2') high. The minimum length of a vertical curve shall be as required by the village engineer. (Ord. 05-1312, 9-27-2005, eff. 10-2-2005)
C. The radii of curvature on the centerline shall not be less than the following: (Ord. 93-721, 12-14-1993)
