Every plat and accompanying document required by ordinance, whether preliminary or final, submitted in accordance with these regulations shall be processed and reviewed by village staff and by the planning and zoning commission. After holding a public meeting thereon, the planning and zoning commission shall transmit to the board of trustees its recommendations to the village president and board of trustees for their approval or denial of the plat.
