§ 96.32 MATERIALS ON STREET OR SIDEWALK.
   (A)   No person, firm, or corporation shall construct or maintain on the driving surface within four feet of the driving surface of any street or right-of-way in the city any type of stone, metal, rock, wood, masonry, or other type of barrier except as set forth in §§ 96.04 and 96.05.
   (B)   There is excepted from the foregoing prohibition the following type of concrete barrier: a white concrete bumper with a base of eight inches, a top of six inches, a height of six inches, and a length of 24 inches. Such barriers may be placed parallel to the roadway, not closer than one foot to the paved portion.
   (C)   The specifications for an acceptable type of barrier may subsequently be modified by the Public Works Manager with the approval of the Mayor.
