§ 96.99 PENALTY.
   (A)   Violation of this chapter shall constitute a criminal violation for which a citation may issue returnable to District Court with a fine to be assessed for each violation consistent with subsection (B) of this section, or at the option of the city, and in addition to the foregoing, a violation shall constitute a civil offense and shall be enforced pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 41.
   (B)   Whoever violates any provision of this chapter shall be, upon conviction, guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be fined not more than five hundred dollars ($500.00).
   (C)   The civil penalty for violation of this chapter shall be that set forth in § 41.12.
   (D)   Any person or entity found to be in violation of § 96.36 shall be subject to a fine in an amount not less than twenty-five ($25.00) dollars and not more than one hundred ($100.00) dollars per day, or imprisoned not more than thirty (30) days or both.
