§ 76.26  TIME LIMITS; ILLEGAL PARKING.
   (A)   Between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. on every day of the week, except Sunday and legal holidays, when any vehicle shall be parked in any parking meter space, the person parking such vehicle shall immediately deposit a coin of the United States, as indicated by the legend on the parking meter adjacent to such parking meter space, in payment of the fee hereby imposed for such parking privilege; and failure to do so shall constitute a violation of this subchapter. Such vehicle shall not be permitted to remain parked in any such parking space beyond the parking time limit fixed for such space. Whenever a parking meter shall display a sign or signal showing illegal parking of a vehicle in such parking space, it shall be prima facie evidence that such vehicle has been parked in violation of this subchapter.
   (B)   No person shall cause, allow or permit any vehicle registered in his or her name to be parked where a parking meter has been installed, in violation of this subchapter.
