§ 70.76 DRIVING OR PARKING OF CERTAIN TRUCKS OR BUSES ON TOWN STREETS AND ALLEYS.
   (A)   Except when permitted under this subchapter, it shall be unlawful for any person to drive or park any truck which has a rated load capacity of 1½ tons or more or any truck or bus which is 30 feet or more in length or to park any trailer on any street or alley owned, operated or maintained by the town.
   (B)   This section does not affect the use of any state highway or state-maintained route within the town by trucks and buses for any lawful purpose, and those vehicles may use the routes for passing through the town or for parking unless that use is further restricted by the Indiana Department of Highways.
   (C)   The Street Commissioner or other officer directed by the Town Council shall erect and maintain appropriate parking and route-direction signs as required by state law when and where deemed necessary by the Town Council for the effective implementation and enforcement of this section.
