Unsheltered storage of one or more old, unused, stripped, junked or other automobiles not in good and safe operating condition, and of any other vehicle, machinery, implements and/or equipment (called “personalty”) which is no longer safely useable for the purpose for which it was manufactured, for a period of seven days or more, (except in a licensed junkyard or other property zoned a storage facility) in any commercially zoned area within the city, is hereby declared to be a nuisance and dangerous to the public safety.
