ORDINANCE NO. 017-233
AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING “CITY OF SHEPHERDSVILLE, KENTUCKY CODE OF ORDINANCES” FOR THE CITY OF SHEPHERDSVILLE, BULLITT COUNTY, KENTUCKY
   WHEREAS, Kentucky Revised Statute 83A.060(8)(b) provides for city ordinances not excepted therefrom to be kept in a minute book or an ordinance book in the order adopted, and indexed in a composite index or maintained in a Code of Ordinances; and
   WHEREAS, the City of Shepherdsville, Bullitt County, Kentucky, has determined that it shall maintain such ordinances in a Code of Ordinances, and has by the City’s authority had such a Code of Ordinances, titled “City of Shepherdsville, Kentucky Code of Ordinances” prepared by the American Legal Publishing Corporation;
   BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF SHEPHERDSVILLE, BULLITT COUNTY, KENTUCKY AS FOLLOWS:
   SECTION ONE: The “City of Shepherdsville, Kentucky Code of Ordinances”, including any amendments that shall be made, is the City’s Code of Ordinances as provided for by the Kentucky Revised Statutes.
   SECTION TWO: The Clerk of the City of Shepherdsville is hereby authorized and ordered to file a copy of such Code of Ordinances in the Office of the Clerk.
   SECTION THREE: This Ordinance shall take effect upon publication.
   SECTION FOUR: Should any section, clause, line, paragraph, or part of this Ordinance be held unconstitutional or invalid for any reason, the same shall not affect the remainder of this Ordinance.
   SECTION FIVE: Parts of any ordinance in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
   Given first reading at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Shepherdsville, Bullitt County, Kentucky, on the 22nd day of May 2017. Given second reading at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Shepherdsville, Bullitt County, Kentucky, on the 12th day of June 2017.
