§ 50.02 BUILDING PERMIT REQUIRED TO CONNECT OR ALTER UTILITY SERVICE.
   (A)   It shall be unlawful to connect or alter any public utility connection to any building or structure within the city without having first obtained a building permit as required by § 151.21(A) of this code of ordinances. Building permits shall he obtained from the City Clerk prior to construction or alteration beginning on any building or structure within the city pursuant to § 151.21(A) of this code of ordinances.
   (B)   Any building permit required to be obtained by the city shall be posted conspicuously upon the property where the improvements are being constructed or altered during the entire term of construction or alteration. Any public utility company which connects public utility service to any building or structure without a valid building permit being posted shall be considered to be in violation of this section and shall be subject to fine as provided for in § 50.99 of this chapter.
