§ 1472.02 PERMIT APPROVAL; POLICE ESCORT AND CONDITIONS.
   (a)   Before any permit for moving any structure or building is issued, it shall be approved by the Mayor. The applicant shall provide plot plans with sufficient detail showing both the existing and the proposed sites of the structure. The moving of a structure or building is defined as new construction; therefore, the applicant shall comply with § 1442.02.
   (b)   Whenever it is deemed necessary in the public interest, the Mayor may require that the moving operations be conducted under the supervision of off-duty police officers as shall reasonably be required to safeguard life and property during the course of moving operations. The charge therefor shall be negotiated between the officers and the mover and be paid by the mover. The Mayor may prescribe, in writing, reasonable conditions, requirements, routes and precautions, and the days and hours of the day during which the moving operations shall be conducted, as deemed necessary in the public interest. All moving operations shall be performed in conformity therewith.
