(a) New construction.
(1) The fee for a permit for new residential or commercial construction, or for any addition of a valuation of up to $50,000, shall be $75. This fee includes four inspections. Any additional inspections required shall be paid for at the rate of $10 each.
(2) The fee for a permit for new residential or commercial construction of a valuation of more than $50,000, but not more than $100,000, shall be $100. This fee includes four inspections. Any additional inspections required shall be paid for at the rate of $10 each.
(3) The fee for a permit for new residential or commercial construction of a valuation of more than $100,000, but not more than $200,000, shall be $150. This fee includes four inspections. Any additional inspections required shall be paid for at the rate of $10 each.
(4) The fee for a permit for new residential or commercial construction of a valuation of more than $200,000 shall be $200. This fee includes four inspections. Any additional inspections required shall be paid for at the rate of $10 each.
(5) The fee for a permit for any addition to a residence that will not be occupied, such as but not limited to a porch or patio, shall be $20. This fee includes two inspections. Any additional inspections required shall be paid for at the rate of $10 each.
(b) Alterations. The fee for a permit for any alteration which is not an addition shall be $50.
(c) Reserved.
(d) Public structures. School districts, the city, the county, the state and the United States shall be exempt from the payment of any fee, but shall obtain a permit.
(e) Garages. A permit for garages and other outbuildings shall be $20 and shall include two inspections.
(f) Plumbing.
(1) The fee for a plumbing permit shall be $15, plus an additional $2 for each trap and fixture included in the addition or alteration.
(2) The plumbing permit fee is separate and apart from any construction fees charged herein.
(g) Fences. The fee for a permit for the construction of a fence shall be $10.
