(a) In the event of a conflict between any of the provisions of the National Electrical Code, as adopted in § 1424.01, and a provision of state law, or between any of the provisions of the National Electrical Code and a provision of any other technical code adopted by the city by reference, the higher or stricter standard shall control.
(b) In the event of a conflict between any of the provisions of the National Electrical Code and a provision of any local ordinance, resolution, rule or regulation, the local provision shall control.
