§ 1420.99 PENALTY; EQUITABLE REMEDIES.
   (a)   Whoever violates or fails to comply with any of the provisions of this chapter, including any provision of the Ohio Building Code adopted in § 1420.01, is guilty of a minor misdemeanor and shall be fined not more than $100 for each offense. Unless otherwise provided, a separate offense shall be deemed committed each day during or on which a violation or noncompliance occurs or continues.
   (b)   The application of the penalty provided in division (a) hereof shall not be deemed to prevent the enforced removal of prohibited conditions, or the application of any other equitable remedy, including abatement of the nuisance referred to in § 1420.05(h).
   (c)   The Richland County Division of Building Regulations may institute injunction proceedings in Common Pleas Court to abate the nuisance of failure to cease work after receipt of a stop work order as referred to in § 1420.05.
