729.01 LICENSE REQUIRED.

   No person shall exhibit, or participate in exhibiting within the Municipality, any theatrical performance, circus, menagerie or show of any kind, other than a theater or moving picture show permanently located in the Municipality, and established in a building, not a tent, or give any concert or entertainment for which money or other reward is in any manner demanded or received, without first having obtained a license therefor from the Safety-Service Director.

   Lectures on scientific, historical or literary subjects, or permanently located theaters or moving picture shows, or concerts or literary entertainments given or conducted by any school, church or fraternal society or organization, shall not come within the provisions of this chapter.
