   729.01 LICENSE REQUIRED.
   No person shall exhibit, or participate in exhibiting within the Municipality, any theatrical performance, circus, menagerie or show of any kind, other than a theater or moving picture show permanently located in the Municipality, and established in a building, not a tent, or give any concert or entertainment for which money or other reward is in any manner demanded or received, without first having obtained a license therefor from the Safety-Service Director.
   Lectures on scientific, historical or literary subjects, or permanently located theaters or moving picture shows, or concerts or literary entertainments given or conducted by any school, church or fraternal society or organization, shall not come within the provisions of this chapter.    729.02 APPLICATION FOR LICENSE .
   Any person desiring a license shall make written application therefor to the Safety-Service Director, stating therein the date or dates as nearly as possible, the kind or character of such entertainment and the name of the owner or manager thereof. Upon payment to the Safety-Service Director, of the license fee hereinafter stipulated, the Safety-Service Director shall issue a license in accordance with such application, subject to the provisions hereinafter mentioned, and shall register the applicant's name, the date and character of such entertainment and the amount of license fee so paid.    729.03 LICENSE FEE; REVOCATION.
   For each license issued by the Safety-Service Director there shall be paid a fee which shall not be less than one dollar ($1.00), nor more than ten dollars ($10.00) per day.
   The Safety-Service Director shall, upon proper application, accompanied by the fee hereinafter provided, grant to the owners or managers of halls, a yearly license, the fee for which shall not be less than fifteen dollars ($15.00), nor more than fifty dollars ($50.00). Any license may be revoked for good cause by the Safety-Service Director.
